Other than getting the priviledge of being able to brag that, over the course of a 1000 posts, that I'm king of this particular thread, will I get any other reward when I win? I mean, like, some kind of dedication reward, like a cruise (remember, I'm In Kenya so be sure to purchase my ticket departing from the port of Mombasa).
Or, maybe a bucket of KFC? (yeah, a genuine KFC just opened up here in Nairobi, though it's insanely expensive. Apparently they import their chicken from the US!)

Ehh, I already tried that line of reasoning. I was last so I became first so then I became last so then I became first. I had to abandon it as I started to go a bit nuts trying to calculate how many times I'd need to be first and last before ending up on first exactly at the last post!
