Twila: -stands somewhat awkwardly, then recalls something being said about Al not recalling some things. Can't help but wonder if that had something to do with why he was hiding out. Still for right now she is practically an outsider. Thus, she remains to Al's right and doesn't break on in the conversation immediately. Especially since she hasn't been introduced. Instead, she takes up observing, hoping Al doesn't take his leave again. He and his brother really need to have that talk.

-Pressing her lips together, she subconsiously smooths her skirt. Her fingers feel over one or two of the sewn patches there as her eyes glance from one person to the next.-

 

[Xaddiline]

Al: Tell me brother!
Ed: I uhhh...
Kaira: *is silent*
Al: TELL ME!
Ed: *gets behind Kaira* *whispers in her ear* Y..You tell him. I can't
Al: Will someone please tell me? *looks even to Twila for some help*
Ed & Kaira remain silent thinking of a way to tell Al.

Twila: -With some of the previous attention, there could have been some hints. She places a hand against one of his armored biceps as if in some form of restraint or an attempt of trying to calm him.-

I...I don't know. I know less then you do.

Kaira: *eyes fill with tears* Can't he put two and two together? It's obvious.
Ed: *rests his head on Kaira's shoulder*
Al: Twila.

Twila: .oO(Not the guessing game, please. Especially if Al's having problems with his memories as is.)Oo. *sigh* -Looking towards the two and their reactions, she responds softly to Al-

-the latter was addressed to Ed and Kiara for confirmation for the younger brother.-

Ed & Kaira nod in unison.
Al: Brother... *looks down to Twila*

Ed: *breaks the scilence* Who are you?

Twila: It's as I said earlier. I'm---umm...

-Well, he had been in a rush. So, he may have forgotten due to whatever caused him to take flight. Trying to do a little better than this she offers somewhat more detail, along with a slight bow of a head. The others may or may not take notice her last name would indicate her family line would to be from either one of the more western or north western occupied nations. However, her speech seems to bear little accent.-

Twila O'Mallory. I'm presently a resident here in the city and came across Al while searching for something of mine. I was asked to join him on the way back to the hospital.

(BTW, I'm only guessing some of these lands are occupied. I've only seen half the series.)

Ed: Okay. Well. uhmm... I don't have to go. If I go I'll only end up being lectured to by Colonel Mustang. and then Given A body guard. *shudders as a picture of Armstrong pops into his head*
Kaira: Okay...now... Uhm...

(Wait until Lust, Envy, and whatever the little chomper's name is really start getting annoying near the 20th episode!

And no worries. Though Al is the only one Twila is able to keep up with at the moment. Ed seems too tempermental and has too many mood swings. )

Twila: -If it was up to her she'd kick Ed in the shins if he's going to now walk out on him. His girlfriend shows up so...what happens to his brother who he had been rather worried about before? She just blinks at the the given name, not really having heard of it before. Not that it matters anyway. After some silence she manages upon glancing towards the three others...-

So...what...now?

-Is she even needed...or wanted at this point? The younger brother may have been found by Ed...but he still appears as a rather vulnerable and shell-shocked state of sorts.-

Ed: Oh Yeah, we aere on our way to Central...to uhm...Do some reasearch. If you wanna come *aims the last part at Twila*

((Ah, ok.I recall now. Gluttony it is then. *mind begins to turn...and shakes the cobwebs...* ))

Twila: -Not that she would probably understand much of the research if it pertains to alchemy as she supposes it would. If it's at the offical archives none of the visitors will probably be able to enter. (Has Al even seen them?) Still, not everyday day she's invited.-

(to Ed ) As long as it's alright. My grandfather worked some for another branch for the state. -Her hand moves to rest against her purse protectivly as if to signify his work delt more with machines and mechanics. Certainly not the one Edward was involved in.- And I know how much of a sticklers some of them can be.

-She asks an important question first and turns to Al.- You coming though?

-She probably wouldn't go without him. Then again, he probably wouldn't simply stay out here without the others either.-

Ed: Yes, we are ALL going.
Kaira: Yep. C'mon Twila. *gets pulled by Ed all the way to the train station*
Al: *watches* Uhm, let's go?

Twila: -Good thing she's able able to not only able to set her only to set her own hours but has enough funds with her. It's another good thing her home and shop are all locked up. Although if worst comes to worst to worst she does supposes she can set up a temporary small craft shop outside the complex. It's not often she takes these spur of the moment trips at the drop of the hat. Asking no one in particular...-

How far is Central from here anyway?

Kyp: -halfway squiggles out of the pouch watch wide-eyed. Like a good cabbit she remains as she is. Subconsiously, she continuois sniffing the air for anything good or bad...if only to protect her mistress. She sounds little cat noises every now and then and can't help wondering where they're all off too.- Aaoorph?

Twila: -whispering to Al while the two lovebirgs are dragged ahead.- Anything I can do to help?

Al: Let's just go. *begins walking* *As Twila follows he tells her how far away Central* It's about 4 hours on a train. Maybe more... I don't really pay attention...

Twila: -After acknowledging Al- If there's anything you would want to talk about later...the options always open on the table. If not, that's ok too.

-She leaves open the offer with the barest shrug. She's not saying she can be of much help. She probably can't. But a listening ear can do wonders nonetheless. As can company.-

Been awhile since I've been on a train. Guess I'll have to place Kyo to "sleep" before we get on. Otherwise she'll be romping throughout the entire car. -She pauses for a moment.- We're not there yet though. Would you like to hold her for a little while?

Al: Uhmm... Sure... *puts his hand to Kyo's nose*

Ed: What's takin' them so long
Kaira: I dunno *sits down by Ed on a bench* But if they don't hurry, we'll miss the train.

Kyo: -The cabbit licks the giant's fingers, then scampers into the metallic palm. There's room enough for her soft feet at the cold material. It's not something she's used too. But anyway. She glances up innocently. Sitting up straight she and offers harty- Meow, mif marf-marf!

-Maybe as if in apology for not noticing the him earlier?-

Twila: -supresses a giggle at the cabbits antics. When she notices the pair waiting for them up ahead on the bench she realizes neither one said when the train was leaving. So, she picks up her pace. Enough for Al to perhaps notice, but nothing more than.- I think that's her way of saying she likes you.

Kyo: -giggles in Mama's stead- Meemee mewoph. -a paw comes up to bat at the air, only to land on one of her wiskers. Least this one isn't gonna take him apart....right?-

As the two pass by one of byways found along the streets a tired sigh is heaved. So, by way of the trains is it? It would have been by that route one of these days. Well, best be hurryin'. The train won't wait forever. And then...and then finally they all can leave this blasted place with all it's black magic and magicians behind them. They can go back home and live as free men. But, first things first.

Without narry a sound, the presence slinks further back into the shadows of the alley to rejoin with one of his companions.
