8 Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.
9 Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the decree.
10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.
8 王阿，现在求你立这禁令，加盖玉玺，使禁令决不更改，照玛代和波斯人的例，是不可更改的。
9 于是大利乌王立这禁令，加盖玉玺。
10 但以理知道这禁令盖了玉玺，就到自己家里，（他楼上的窗户，开向耶路撒冷）一日三次，双膝跪在他上帝面前，祷告感谢，与素常一样。
KNOWING AND KNEELING
知道与下跪
Let me give you the scenario here, the writing of the King had come into effect, you couldn't pray for thirty days and if you do, you will put in a den of lions and not just any den of lions, these are the Kings lions.
让我给你们一个场景，国王的诏书生效了，你不能在30天内祈祷，如果你祈祷了，你就会在狮子洞里，不是随便的狮子洞，这些是国王的狮子。
Surely Daniel could have stopped praying in his house, it's only thirty days after all. He could have prayed quietly in his heart, surely, he didn't have to make a big deal out of this.
但以理当然可以停止在他家里祈祷，毕竟只有三十天。他本可以在心里安静地祈祷，当然，他不必为此大惊小怪。
But No, Daniel's reaction in knowing what was going to happen was to kneel before God. What he knew didn't stop him from kneeling before God in prayer, indeed it made him more passionate in prayer.
但是不，但以理知道将要发生的事情后，他的反应是跪在上帝面前。他所知道的一切并没有阻止他跪在上帝面前祈祷，反而使他在祈祷中更加热情。
I wonder what yours and my reaction would have been, probably it wouldn't have been the reaction of Daniel. He knew the consequences, but like Peter and John in Acts 4, he and they had to obey God rather than man.
我想知道你我的反应会是什么，可能不会是但以理的反应。他知道后果，但就像使徒行传第4章中的彼得和约翰，他和他们必须服从上帝而不是人。
Would it make any difference to your prayer life believer if they were a command from your government to stop all prayer?

What if they said you had to stop going to go to church on Sunday or if you were stopped from sharing the gospel?

Would it make any difference?

It wouldn't in millions of Christians lives because they don't pray, don't go to church or share the gospel?

If you knew what Daniel knew, what would you do?
It's not how much we know, it's how much we kneel that matters.
如果你知道但以理知道的事，你会怎么做？

7 For the Lord thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the Lord thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.
因为耶和华－你的 神在你手里所办的一切事上已赐福与你。你走这大旷野，他都知道了。这四十年，耶和华－你的 神常与你同在，故此你一无所缺。
WALKING THROUGH THE WILDERNESS
To journey from Egypt to the Promised Land takes less than a year, but for the children of Israel it took more than 40 years as a result of their disobedience. In the book of Deuteronomy, Moses is careful to remind them of the high price of their disobedience and to call them to remember the commandments and statues of the Lord as they go in to possess the land of Canaan. The lesson for us is clear: Disobedience is expensive, and most of us cannot afford to pay its price. As some of us have had to walk through our own personal wilderness, we can testify that God was with us the whole time. And it is through our “wilderness experiences” that we learn about the need to remain steadfast in our faith and conduct as believers.
从埃及到应许之地只需要不到一年的时间，但是对于以色列人来说，因为他们的悖逆，他们花了40多年的时间。在《申命记》中，摩西小心翼翼地提醒他们，他们的悖逆将付出高昂的代价，并号召他们在进入迦南地得为业时记住上帝的诫命和神像。这给我们的教训很清楚:不服从是代价高昂的，而我们大多数人无法承担它的代价。就像我们中的一些人不得不走过自己的荒野一样，我们可以证明上帝一直与我们同在。正是通过我们的“荒野经历”，我们了解到作为信徒，需要坚定地持守我们的信仰和行为。
Although God punished Israel by causing them to go through the wilderness for 40 years, He also performed many great miracles among them during their journey. And just like God led Israel through the wilderness, He is there to lead us as well. Going through the wilderness is not abandonment by God, it is His way of training our hearts to be true to Him, so that we can be fit to inherit the blessing He has in store for us. It can also be a time of great communion in which you draw nearer to God than ever before.
虽然神罚以色列人在旷野行走四十年，但在他们行路的路上，又在他们中间行了许多大神迹。就像神带领以色列人走过旷野一样，他也会在那里引导我们。在旷野中行走并不是神的弃绝，这是他训练我们的心忠实于他的方式，这样我们就能承受他为我们所预备的福气。它也可以是一个伟大的交流的时间，你比以往任何时候都更接近上帝。
Finally, our wilderness experience can be a time of God's greatest provision. The children of Israel lacked nothing; God provided for nearly 2 million people every day. And He will provide for you.
最后，我们在旷野的经历可以成为神最大的供应。以色列人一无所缺。神每天供应将近200万人。他会供养你的。
