Christ is risen!
I understand that many of you are close confidantes and indeed close friends and that when one is absent, discussion arises as to the reason for their absence. Please understand that we the mods, admire your love for each other, and we applaud you for it. However, these threads and posts which contained thinly veiled references to "what happened" are :
a) Considered gossip
b) Borderline Rule 7 violations
c) Possibly offensive to the mods outside of TAW who may have had a hand in the absence.
d) Creates a divisive attitude from non-TAW mods toward ALL TAW members including us.
We don't want to stifle your creativity, your "solidarity" etc, however, we mods are also bound to uphold the rules of CF and to do so without prejudice. Even if we personally think an absence was unwarranted, we must still respect the mods of other forums, the general rules of CF and the general established protocol. In much the same way that a problem in a parish might be handled between a lay person and a priest, or other layperson, that is to say PRIVATELY, so too we desire circumspect discretion and honour within TAW.
Threads and posts that contain these types of comments, will be deleted without apology. We the mods of TAW work hard to ensure that all are fairly treated. This includes staff of other forums. All of us are responsible for what we post and we are all accountable. There are none here that are above the rules of TAW or CF generally. Just because someone "feels" that they are in the right, does not mean that they actually are so. And just because someone has been held accountable for their behaviour, does not make them a "victim" of unfairness or prejudice.
Please abide by the rules of CF in general. Please note the protocol also for this is the only acceptable method of "protest". Protest threads, "support" threads and other threads and posts deemed to be bordering on Rule 7 violation will be deleted.
