The one thing I hate the most is my enemies taunting me as I am forced to watch The Wicked casting shadows of fear all over my Family while those animals of prey rip me to bits in front of their eyes.

Our weaknesses are exploited so that we would know how and where we need The Lord's strength.

For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. <-----> 2nd Corinthians 12:8-10

The Only One Who we can compare ourself to, and not receive an inaccurate sense of who and what we are - is Jesus !

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which does so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

To someone whose truly tasted that "The Lord Is Good", the idea that we should leave off following Him/seeking Him & His Mercy & Grace - is as unattractive a notion as unattractive can get !!

From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

If we serve the devil, life leads only to death.

But when we serve The Lord Jesus, even our death leads to even much more abundant life.

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. <-----> Romans 8:13

For he that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. <-----> Galatians 6:8+9

One recognizes that The Lord has helped them along quite well, when it feels so much better doing the right things, than the wrong ones.

A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. <-----> Ezekiel 36:26
