Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

In which righteousness dwells, the heart rejoices at such a thought, such a promise, such a truth, such a hope… Though all around one, the opposite might be true, nevertheless this is the hope one has that belongs to God… For to look, not at what is seen, but what is promised, brings the blessings, the hope, the joys in the mist of trouble.. Knowing that all that is in this world is but a mist, a vapor, that which seems to have substance but in truth is just a shadow of reality, a shadow of the eternal..
To know that all one has gone through and is still yet to go through is not a waste, all things work towards one’s eternal state of glory, the new heaven and a new earth, the child of God’s new home..
Scripture says, it has not yet appeared what we shall be but we shall be like Him..
When one considers their future and all the promises of God towards them, the heart can’t but jump for joy at being His…
Be so blessed in belonging to Him..
