CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Friday is family night at the YMCA. My kids and I swim and play tennis and raquetball. 
Saturday we have classes at the Y, walk the track and use the stationary bikes (we'd play outside but there's too much snow and ice, brrr). Sunday we might go to a movie after church. If we don't want to spend money, or go out, we stay home and play games together.

Every second Friday my kids go to see their dad.
I go out to a ladies small group. We sit around and talk about the bible and just a bunch of other stuff in our lives.

Well, today I'm meeting up with some friends for dinner and a movie. I hope to pick up a b-day gift for my mother.
My boys will be with their father, which I'm not so sure is a good idea, but what can you do about it?
