French translators needed

I have attempted to translate
into Chinese and Spanish with the ultimate intent to translate every article into Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. I originally began using Altavista's Babelfish, but realized that it produced nonsensical gibberish in many cases, and often I was forced to search for synonyms FOR synonyms when a certain word or phrase wouldn't translate at all. However, that was not the primary problem that all of the online machine translators (that I tried) have; they lack the vital ability to translate context correctly! I cannot afford the cost of translation software that is coded to have context translation capabilities; those pieces of software cost approximately $800.00 and more. I certainly can't afford a professional translator! I am looking for extremely generous individuals fluent in another language plus English who could translate these articles for me... for free. Are you one of those people?

yeah your site looks interesting... at the least i could proofread articles in french if you want.
Reasons why i can't translate it (at least for now)
1. i might be good at french, but i'm not so good at english. I've tried to translate leaflets once. That's really a huge work. My specialty is computer science, not translation.
2. i'd like to get more acquainted with the contents first
3. I don't have much free time - i'm also running a site, plus other activities...

I'll thinkabout it though. If your site is really interesting, maybe i can find some people who would do it. But i can't make any promise, i'm sorry.

Hey,
I am a high school student working on translating some things into french (gospel tracts and such). I was volunteered to do it for a missionary in Canada.

My problem is finding someone who would proofread my translations. My french teacher does not have the time to keep proof-reading and correcting for me. Can anyone help me out?
