Freedom
The experiences of this life,
So great and so vast are they
The possibilities stretch for miles on end.
Freedom.
This is what life is all about.
We go to war; we battle for our country,
Our family and friends
Fighting for freedom.
Fighting for reason
Hope for just one more day.
Fighting gives some freedom,
For a country,
Even for just one life.
But there must be a greater freedom,
That comes with a greater hope.
Knowledge, books, and history
Wont set me free.
Denial, facades, and compromise
Wont set me free.
Fitting in, being cool, having fun
Wont set me free.
There is One
He will set me free.
There is a hope in this One
He will set me free.
There is life within this One
He will set me free.
FREEDOM
I shall be free indeed.
The stories are true
His life, He lived...
His death, He died
His resurrection, He arose!
And I declare that freedom is mine,
And freedom can be yours.
For freedom is shared
Because a freedom has been found,
That lasts for all eternity.
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed John 8:36
