Dear Friends,
For those who are interested in a free software that will allows you to project christian worship songs/notices/presentations and etc onto a screen during Church services, rather than pay hundreds of pounds for one, you could try zionworx which you can find at: (please do a google search for 'zionworx' and hopefully you'll discover the link). Version 3 is coming out soon with more features comparable to the commercial versions and will still be free.
I spent some time doing searches in google for projection software, installing them and testing them, this is one of the best free ones that I found so far. It incorporates, powerpoint slides, background images, song searches and allows you to create a dynamic programme and last minute changes on the fly and etc. All you need is a laptop/computer with dual monitor support and a projector.
The software is very easy to use and doesn't have a steep learning curve. To add new songs please do read the instructions in the help file carefully for the initial password setup, which prevents people from deleting songs by accident
I suggested this because I feel that not many churches can afford copies of Microsoft Office with powerpoint or any other professional projection software, Churches can save a lot of money on licensing fees and thus more money would then be available to serve the Lord in other areas of the ministry
Take care and God bless
Love in Christ
Peter
P.S. Please remember that any song(s) you display on screen/project requires permission from the author/publisher, most hymns and carols are on public domain which are free to screen
