i think it's for U. S. resident's only, or at least, free to U.S resident's only.

good though...free is good, usually free comes with strings attached...
They used to have a site for Canada too. But now there's just one for the USA.:(

yup...typical!

D'you know what, i would just love to be in a position to open a Catholic Store some day..there is practically nothing in England, hardly anywhere to purchase Catholic products at all! Big Sigh!
I'm sure that would be something rather enjoyable to do.:) But I guess England doesn't have too many Catholics? Expect of course London, which has many different kinds of immigrants, and I'm sure many of them are Catholic?

Can you order from an online store? That's what I do. There are two Orthodox bookstores in my town and there's one even within walking distance, but I would have to walk through a bad part of town. So most of my Orthodox things come by internet! :)

I would LOVE to do something like that, Andreas....i doubt i'll ever be in a position to be able to though  as for the ratio of Catholics in the country...i'd say we were pretty much a substantial mass, not as much as the C of E , obviously, but, still., a substantial MASS ;)

Matrona...all the best online stores are in the U. S and incurr shipping charges and taxes upon receipt into this country, in addition to the costs of goods...i have limited financial recources, unfortunatley. I have been searching online to purchase First Holy Communion product's for my children...it's almost impossible! the choice is strictly limited, and very expensive.

1 in 10 people in Engalnd is Catholic

10% of the population

there are quite a lot of us :) most of which are not in London (high immagrant population from muslim areas).

most cradles are either traced back to Ireland, Scotland or mainland Europe. Due to the reformation and stuff there are very very few English (as in past 3 generations were all English) Catholics.

I have mixed Irish Scotish roots.

Mark is quite correct :)

My paternal Catholic roots are in Italy (my Mum is an English convert)

The registers of the Catholic schools in England are a mixture of Italian, Polish and Irish names with a few English names thrown in for good measure :D

Ukok, Ebay.co.uk has some Catholic sellers.
(one in particular I'm very imprssed with - I ordered a new rosary (for 6.49) and received a free prayer card and a free glow-in-the-dark rosary too!)
If your church doesn't have a shop, I'm sure another Catholic church nearby might have one :)

My father runs the shop in his church. He has great fun once a year going to an exhibition in Bristol where he orders things for the shop. He always stocks up this time of year for First Communion and Confirmation. We also have a "Catholic Truth Society" shop in town, attached to the Cathedral.
But if you live in Mid or West Wales, you have to travel miles for a Church, let alone a shop.
