Just to pass this along. I received a call from "The Maine Federation of Fire Fighters". They were soliciting $ for a fallen Fire Fighter in Maine. Yes, we had a loss in Maine.
I called the local FD and they stated that is not how they raise money for a fellow FF. They would take care of it them selves.
I did a Google search of 1-877-749-7846 after I *69ed that call. It appears whoever this is, raises money fraudently.
