Anyone ever read him? I've started reading some of his essays online and I've found it pretty good.

If anyone has a huge slab of his published works, it would be me. I'm not bragging or exaggerating either. I read him voraciously for quite some time, especially when I was studying for the ministry. He was an excellent theologian, and if articles about his life are to be believed, he was a good Christian as well (yes, the two are not necessarily synonymous!) Many people from that side of the Lutheran fence regard him as the real inheritor of Walther's torch. I wouldn't argue against that either.
