Sinatra is my all-time FAVORITE singer. His voice is angelic!!!:)

I have to agree, Crosby over Sinatra when it comes to singing............. As it goes with acting however, always Sinatra over Crosby. Playing Father Flanigan wasn't enough to swing me over to Crosby for acting. Frank was a natural and allowed for the movie to flow more like a movie should flow. Not like Elvis, who was committed to Coronel Tom Parker, who destroyed Elvis's ability to act by turning the movies into beach blanket banana's. Elvis could act and should have been allowed to do just that without having to sing. Singing has its place. Thank goodness he was given the privilege to play an Indian where he wasn't put in the position to sing...............back to Bing and Frank, singing - Bing, acting - Frank. Agreed?

I'm a Sinatra fan. I'm fond of the swing band and crooner era of music. I liked Bing Crosby, but I felt more at home with Sinatra, Dean Martin, Robert Goulet, Buddy Greco, Sammy Davis (Jr), Mel Torme and that ilk. Music one can hum or whistle, lyrics one can understand and a sense of 'cool'.

Strangers in the Night has to be my favorite Sinatra song. I also like his version of New York, New York.

But my favorite crooners are Andy Williams, Perry Como and Bing Crosby. To this day, I wish I could sing like Andy Williams & Perry Como. :)
