What are your thoughts on him? I think he has a lot of good things to say and is clearly passionate for the Lord, but he can be unclear and his passion can sometimes present itself as legalism by putting a certain burden on the people who hear him.

Read Crazy Love a couple years ago. Remember it was an easy and enjoyable read. I remember nothing of the points he was trying to make. Which means in the end I doubt it had any impact on me.

I've read a couple of Francis Chan's books. We did one in a weekly group. I liked his books how he communicated the love of Christ. The down side is I never like things to get too intense. So I'd not try to live my faith as intensely as he does. But I don't think he is saying one has to be as intense about Christ as he is to be a good Christian.
