By the way, where in the bible does it say there was no decay before the Fall? I suppose in the same place it says the earth is 6,000 years old and animals "hyper-evolved" after the Flood....

The sun and stars in the new heavens will never decay but last forever. This is impossible in this temporary physical universe. Up there, as Jesus said, moth and rust doth not corrupt. Adam even would have lived forever.

Well, thinking about it, I like pigment better. Because it starts with an unclean animal, and refers to a less than clean theory.

It is viewing the evidence with colored lenses, where a physical only past like the present is the starting premise. Part of the definiton I looked up for pigment reads

"That which is used to give color; a paint; a pigment; as, oil colors or water colors.

That which covers or hides the real character of anything; semblance; excuse; disguise; appearance. "

They embrace the Bible for spiritual things like how to know God and His plans for us and to become more fully human through Love and Compassion...The story of how life and how this earth developed is being re-written by science and the new creation story is being embraced by the peoples of the world.

No, they are written and will always be written after this temporary universe passes away. The re written stuff you refer to is a belief based temporary affair, of no concequence in eternity, save for a laugh, and reminder how far afield men once had gotten.
