Well, I sent a letter to the college book store asking when my books will be ready for me to pick up (I am paying with my financial aid) they sent me a letter telling me that I do not have financial aid! I have the email from the gov (FAFSA) saying they are giving me almost 4,000 dollars in financial aid. Can this week just end already school starts Monday and I have 4 class and no books, I might not be able to attend college this year. DEAR LORD MY SANITY HAS GONE AND .... WELL .... HELP PLEEEAAASSSEEE.

Could you guys remember my daughter Candice in prayer please.She was down visiting here and her eye got sore,then yesterday she lost most of her sight in her one eye.Then today she was at a specialist and then she rushed home because she has to start treatment in her hometown hospital tomorrow.There hoping its just a viral infection which takes awhile to be treated.Thanks

Thanks Cryb, but why does everything have to be a test ALL the time? When does the peak of the mountian come? When does something work out good? Every part of my life since I can remember has been a fight for something to go right, a fight for peace, a fight for love, and every other thing you can imagine. It all seems so pointless and disappointing. I just want to give up.

Sorry dearheart, I've been busy of late. First of all, let God's word define you not your challenges. If you're in a small town chances are your opportunities will be limitted to your environment.
Education is your key to knowledge.
This is the day to live in, not yesterday or tomorrow.
Plant your seeds deep....take your time and make some large goals for yourself...aim high.

Whatever you're sowing expect to reap a harvest.

God love you, and He does have a wonderful plan for your life.


Present yourself to God every morning noon and night and pray.

I have 3 children arround your age....31,30,28.
A good plan puts your choices and option into view.
The desire to change your situation is the beginning of better days.

'course, having a kidney infection didn't help me any! so sorry for not being in here lately....i believe i'm going to ask for things to really slow down now, as i don't think the stress is helping me either. i'll try to get in here over the weekend to catch up. busy, busy summer ... it finally caught up to me, tho ... I'm just tired ... went last fri and licensed the car ... on the way home I got to thinking how come it was due now ... was pretty sure we bought it in Oct or so ... get home and Doug says well this is for the white car ... ... the white car was crushed a year ago ... 4 on a Fri, intense heat, and the DMV ... ouch! so I'm frantically looking everywhere for the paper that says it was crushed so I can get back and straighten it out before it's lost in the system over the weekend ... Doug decided to drive me and away we went ... straightened it out and came home ... never drove again until Tues ... or tried to ... seems my keys disappeared while trying to undo the licensing issue ... still can't find them ... so yesterday I go to file papers and realize I payed 200.00 to birds and blooms mag and 19.98 to my home payment geez! now I'm trying to straighten that out! ... I will praise and smile my way through this God willing ...

anyway ... it's just been like that ... seeing you all struggle with issues bigger than being my own worst enemy keeps things in perspective ...

it's not a test all the time, sweetpea ... sometimes it's just life ... and sometimes it's the enemy trying to deroute you ... remember it's the locust season ... they only have a short time, then it's harvest time ... you're planting, watering, and weeding your garden for the Lord right now ... in time you'll see much fruit ... you have a lot on your plate ... and you're quite blessed ... I see your needs being met ... be grateful, my friend ... the enemy just hates that ... and it would seem the enemy is trying to take possesion of your thoughts ... woosh, get thee hence, Satan ...

thank God for you all here, and i'll be praying for what i noticed on the way back in in less a day for once! though, it's not all good news....niece went thru an emergency gall bladder removal surgery (don't ask me how a 21 yrd old has gall stones that require that to happen), and my mom calls enroute to an ER w/ her husband - again! i think i'd complain, but i know why everyone around me, and me, are getting sick right now, so i'm gonna pray we get healthy and stay that way so God gets all the praise!! and lilmiss, bless you for this place! crib, i did see your post and it made me smile for a minute, which i needed badly today!

Nice to see you on here Lilmiss.Hello Bird and BHS.Miss you when your not here,all of you.
My daughter is doing o.k.She had her first treatment today.She gets a treatment each day for 3 days.Its steroids that are injected for an hour into her.She has lost all her sight in her one eye.She can only see shapes.The good news is it`ll only be for 6 or 8 weeks if its a viral infection,and it will be.The dr told her something is attacking her immune system,they suggested the 3 day treatment,it could have complications but they need to get at this.When you have this optical neuritis its a 20 to 30%chance its a sign its m.s.It could also be other things but the dr thinks its probably a viral infection because it came on so fast and she was feeling dizzy last week.I was so stressed last night,thinking all the worst things about what could happen and then this morning as I was talking with the Lord,I felt I wasn`t trusting Him and have decided to make my best effort at leaving it with the Lord cause He is the One in control,what else can I say.Thanks for caring.

Thanks lilmiss, you are right I am very blessed! If nothing else because God loves me and he renews his blessings and mercies everyday, I just need to stop and look at it and soak it in.
Ms, Im so glad to hear that the loss of sight isn't perminant. Praying for her still.
