Because people don't like the changes. Plus, some have gone to other forums to participate now instead of this one.

Considering youre liberal, yes they have worked out quite well. But this site was already heading in that direction long before these changes came.

Alot of Christians had already left or were ready to leave after 7/7/7. I don't see that opening up a Christian forum to people who randomly reject the Bible's truth is a good step for any site calling itself Christian, so just because it stays open doesn't mean it's doing a whole lot of good for God.
How many are being misled in the process, only God knows.

Me too....I live out in the sticks and have no other
option (except satellite which I hear is expensive

I've noticed that too. I think it is because of all the arguing and bickering that is allowed here. I see this rule being broken all the time.

According to the people who left, they wouldn't say the changes worked out well and I'm still hearing people who are skeptical and disliking what they're seeing in the Christian areas.

You seem to be assuming that just becuz you like this forum, that all others will "see the light" and come back?
They're actually out there making the other forums GREAT and more populated - sites that actually hold to the doctrines of scripture and keep a proper Christian definition.

I commend them for boycotting what Erwin's turned this place into. We haven't seen the worst of it yet - it's still early, it's only been like 3 or 4 weeks now.

I'm hanging around for a few reasons, but I have joined 2 other forums. I like the layout of this one, but the others are more Christian based than this one is or has been (by far).

Your reply implied that when they "see the light" (or whatever makes them notice they were wrong to leave), they'll be back... I couldn't help but pick that up in the response. sorry

I hear satellite isn't all that great anyway.
However, one of the cell phone companies
has an aircard that may work in my area-
it's not cheap but if it works, I'm willing
to pay for it.
Now to see if we can get cell phone reception
here.....the only way I can get cell reception
now is to go on the back deck and wave
the phone around til I hit the right direction to
pick up a signal.....not too practical for a
computer

Since the forum upgraded and changed, I notice (I'm a numbers kinda guy) that the users on-line #s are running about 60% of what they use to.
