Fortunately there was a hardware store across the street so they could buy new staples.

Fortunately there was a handyman walking by that could help.

Unfortunately, as soon as the handyman began, he hammered his thumb and had to rush off for pain killer.

Unfortunately the counter person was a teen who didn't notice any customers, because she was on her cell phone talking endlessly with another teen who was telling a fascinating story about another teen's boyfiend's brother who was just sooooooooooooo good looking.

Fortunately, the supermarket next door was open and they had some strong duct tape in stock.

Unfortunately, it was a special industrial kind and cost twenty bucks a roll.

Fortunately just then, a man purchasedTWO rolls of Duct Tape and on whim, (and becuz he was feeling generous) gave one roll to them!

Unfortunately he gave him "duck" tape instead of "duct" tape.

fortunately, they didn't need it anymore...they gave up on the trampoline thing!
