I think you mean to say that my conclusion is false. It may very well be. However, given that one of the strains of argumentation is that people are trying to justify their sins and therefore are rewriting the Bible to do so, I think it is a pretty valid conclusion based upon a sound argument.

Posting on this Christian forum in the amounts that we do could also be considered an idol. We could all be reading our Bible now and delving deeper into the word of God, meditating upon what it is teaching us, praying for wisdom and understanding, myself included as I type this. We could all be doing that instead of arguing with each other who is judgmental, biased or right. Of course if we did that and nothing else, this forum would shut down and our egos wouldn't get stroked and let's face it, everybody loves to have their egos stroked. There's that pride again.

Um...not really.

Fornication CAN be idolatry. Emphasis on can. But like I've said a million jillion times (ignoring the fact that jillion isn't a real number) anything can become an idol. However, the idea that fornication IS idolatry, no matter what circumstance, is a ridiculous assumption.
