Those Mum's who formula feed, How often does your little one feed? How many hours in between feeds?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My oldest was formula fed (he refused to bf) and at first he ate about every 2-3 hours and was spitting up a lot...then we switched his formula (turned out he didn't do well with the new formula that has the dha and ara in it..his ped took him off that and on to the regular one with just iron) he still ate every 2-3 hours as a newborn and as he got older the stretches gradually got longer but the spitting up was much less frequent...he usually only spit up if he went longer than normal and therefore ate much faster or if DH would forget to stop him halfway and burp him.

My oldest 2 (now 26 & 24) were formula fed and ate every 4 hrs. #1 never spit up, & #2 puked constantly no matter what formula he was on.
Abel (almost 4 months old) is eating every 2 hrs, 5 oz at a time (part breast milk part formula), with a looooong stretch at night and 1 good nap in the afternoon. He rarely spits up.

WE FF. Oldest son ate about every 4 hours, youngest son ate about every 3 hours. Youngest definitely spit up a lot. He was on acid reflux meds. Both were on soy formula.

Maddie just seems to spit up an awful lot! She is never in pain or anything and is generally a very happy baby. She rarely cries for something other than being tired or hungry.
I guess i just have a spewy baby on my hands!
