Formula coupons

I have a question...I get these formula coupons through the mail..recently my husband tried to use one at toys r us and they would not take it without my id...Because my name is on it...its kind of like a check...but, I see them being traded and sold on ebay...have you ever used one in someone elses name?

Most places will not take coupons with other peoples names on it, normally the places who will also don't card for ID for smokes & alcohol either. It just depends where you go, next time you get them, have them put Mr.&Mrs. so and so or the like and it shouldn't be a prblem.

I don't use formula coupons, but I did get a coupon for a case of pepsi which was bad....my husband couldn't use it because it had my name on it.

No, you probably have to be there or just use it elsewhere where they are not so picky. If you need coupons for formula, have you considered using WIC from the health department? It really helped our "poor" family pay for formula....

We have extra coupons from formula companies we don't use (i signed up for everything!) andI was hoping I could give the coupons away ... guess not

It really depends on where you go...I tried a couple times to use those coupons with somebody else's name (a friend gave me some of hers)...one store let me, another store didn't.

I was just curious...I didn't know if anyone knew of a chain in particular that took them without I.D...I did contact enfamil and got them changed over to my husbands name..but, I still have some from when I was pregnant (I signed up then and they would send me like powedered formula and coupons) and a few from now...we just forgot we had them when we bought our formula the first go around..then my brother just brought some over(a proud uncle indeed)..and the second time we had to restock I sent the coupon with hubby and for five bucks..it wasnt worth the gas to come back and get me ..oh well...I was just curious..I seen them being traded and sold with baby clothes on ebay...and thought it was just our stores around here trying to give us a hard time.
