  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I just wanted to share some scriptures out of my church service today....

To worry yourself to death with ressentment would be a foolish, senseless thing to do....Job 5:2

Never hold grudges. Remember the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Colossians 3:13

If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you.. But if you REFUSE to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.. Matthew 6:14

So my question is....Should we just let those who need forgivess walk all over us..because it says:

How many times should I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Jesus answered, Not seven times, but seventy times seven times.. Matthew 18:21-22

I learned today that you are to forgive everyone and anyone, no matter what they did, you can forgive but never forget..But I would think you would get taken advantage of, dont you?

Great thread Allie!
yes my friend we are to forgive everyone for everything...and as hard as it is, we must pray that we are able to do this...there may not always be that tomorrow, life is so short and we really need to live for the moments, these precious and cherished few moments that we are all here together before moving on to bigger and better things...Love and blessings to you all and a big hug to you Allie for this prayer! I love ya!

Wow, that's tricky. I believe in forgiving. Some people just keep hurting you though. There are people I've had to distance myself from for that reason.
My stepmother. I just up and moved out one day. We get along now. Sometimes it's not that easy.
We all have a trust that some people deserve and some people don't.
Does that make any sense? It didn't come out very well.

That makes total sense to me..There are some people in my life, that seem to walk all over everyone in my family, and I have to think of myself of the better person, you know, humility, and I just get so tired of it sometimes..:(
Just makes me sad, that people are like that..
