Forgive me, I am off-topic... Looking for direction.

My deepest and most sincere apologies if this is the absolute wrong place for this type of request. I couldn't find anything close to the specific thing I'm seeking. Mods, please boot me to a more appropriate place if there is one.

I am trying to find Christian role-players who ascribe to the old-fashioned, around the table type of role-playing. Dungeons and Dragons, rolling dice and eating pizza, that sort of thing.

I'm having a difficult time trying to find this particular breed online or even in one, conspicuous place. Any ideas? Are there any of us out there?

I'm looking to start a group in Dallas based around my D&D setting, I know that's horribly specific, but I can hope someone out there would at least know where to look, if not even be a Christian, table-top role-player in the Dallas area. I can hope, can't I?

Anyway, thanks for your time. Any help is more than welcomed.

It is hard to find Christian RPG folks but they are out there. Especially since we are so often maligned and attacked by our Brothers and Sisters in Christ who do not understand the creative mind HE gave us, nor why it is so important to what HE is doing.
I would go to your nearest Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Gaming convention and try to find others there. They ARE out there, look at all of us here online!! I prefer the challenge of a writing rpg where you write the story together. That is just my personal preference. Be blessed Epic in your search Epic!

But you might like to make an additional thread in the Gamers Zone which have had threads on D&D and any other christian related games of the type you mention:

Kelly, a CF member, has been trying to start something similar at his church. You might want to pm him for any ideas, though i don't know whether he lives in your area.
