CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

i like how when i begin with this passage meditating on the judgment what the rest of the scripture tells me . it's really kind of cool . maybe i'll make a thread about that .

And how wonderful to know that the records of all wrongs and sins will be erased at the end of the ages:
First through Adam came sin, then death.
In the future at the end (of the ages) the last enemy to be abolished will be Death (1 Cor. 15:26-27). And all will be vivified.
And then Sin will be repudiated at the conclusion of the ages, based upon the sacrifice of Christ Jesus (Heb. 9:26).
With all in subjection to Christ, he gives up the kingdom to His God and Father, that God may be all in all (1 Cor. 15:22-28).

God keeps no records of wrongs ..
1 Corinthians 4
5Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men's hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God.
It's kinda like God didn't write the books being opened at judgment but our own hearts did .
God doesn't keep score .. but people do .
