Forced Listening Thread! (a game)

Alright, here's how this game works: The first poster (in this case, me) will post a link to a song. The next poster will listen to the song in it's entirety, write a few sentences about what they think about the song, then link a song of their own. The next poster will listen to the previous poster's song, write about it, then post their own, etc. etc. until the end of time!

Rules:
1) Do NOT post unless you are contributing both a critique and a song.
2) Please tag any songs that include violent content, anti-christian messages, or excessive swearing with (Parental Advisory).

That is an interesting piece. I like the guitar work, but the keyboard is iffy. I may have to check out more from the band.

They should get rid of the background singer/screamer. I do think a higher energy version of the REM song was a good idea, although it goes to far sometimes. I'm not big on the vocal style. It's not bad, (aside from the background sing-screaming) I was expecting a lot worse, I'm just not a punk fan.

I have never heard of this band before. Being the pessimistic human being that I am, I immediately assumed they would be horrible. Once I clicked 'play', however, my expectations were shattered - the song was stellar, through-and-through. I'm going to have to find some more material by this group.

It got me in the mood to share another song with a bizarre female vocalist. "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane.

Eh, that's not really my kind of music. It was sorta boring because throughout the whole thing it never changed dynamics or rhythm, and it barely even changed tone.
