What did Christ's death accomplish? Did it pay for everybody's sins?

Why don't you just read the posted scriptures and take them for what God ment them to be? Don't inject "man made theology." The scriptures are very clear hear as posted above. How much clearer do they need to be?

Let's suppose I am the manufacture of an automobile and I said it has a v6 with 300 horse power and that is printed in the spec sheet as the following: MOTOR = v6 HP=300.

That is clear as day just like the scriptures. However you are trying to say something like: "but the manufacture really meant that it was 4 cylinders on one side that makes 20 hp and 2 cylinders on the other side that makes 100 hp and not really a v6.

JUST READ THE SCRIPTURES THAT I MENTIONED AND TAKE THEM STRAIGHT FORWARD AS THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO BE!!!!

This is always a fascinating argument to me because of the logical fallacy built into it. You, a man, are telling other not to listen to a man. So which man should we listen to?

The scriptures also say that there is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to distruction. DON'T TRY TO USE MAN MADE LOGIC TO UNDERSTAND THE SCRIPTURES. Take the scriptures straight forward as they are written.

Don't say, "well, this word really means this if you look at these certin theologians remarks." THE SCRIPTURES DON'T NEED "THEOLOGIANS" OR ANY MAN MADE DOCTORINES TO GET THE MEANING ACROSS.

One, you don't need to keep yelling. I understand that you believe the scriptures to say that Christ died for all. I was a long time believer of that view, and argued vigorously in defense if it on these forums.

Two, my question wasn't meant to incite. It was only intended to try to understand your understanding of the atonement and what it accomplished.

But the correct context does help us to understand an author's intent.

Some who are viewing the Salvation forum discussion may not be aware of this thread and the large amount of data already devoted to the differing views. Dr. Hunt of course does an excellent job in addressing certain issues concerning Calvinism.

Yes, and the large amount of documentation exposing Dr. Hunt's pure ignorance of the Reformed Position is also on this thread.

Saying Dr. Hunt is correct is simply foolish considering how much the man misrepresents Calvinism (and also considering how he believes that the first 13 books of Acts were written in Hebrew...).

Honestly, I think you like him only because he gets your emotions up, not because he presents valid and factual arguments against Calvinism.
