The new patch (1.5) is coming out soon.
They just released the Linux server patch.
This is probably useless info, but ohwell; thought I'd share.

Maybe they'll release the Philippenes map that they've been showing, too.

well i just hope my computer gets it's act together and lets me download patches. it has never worked before, and the only reason i have 1.4 is cause it came with secret wepons.

Are you the administrator of your computer?
If so check your security settings.
That seems like it would be the problem.
Also, how many download sites have you tried?

im not sure if i am, the administrator...ill have to check, o and yes i have tried about 28 sitre....so im pretty sure its my computer

I'm sorry I'm late.
That sounds really odd.
Have you checked your internet security settings?
That's not likely the problem, but worth a shot.
Another thing you could do is e-mail EA or DICE.
They could certainly tell you more than I could.

ok the only thing i have up that could be blocking anything is a firewall, and i turned it off, downloaded another copy, and it did the exact same thing

Good luck, this patch fixes the cd swapping issue and allows you to play the Invasion of the Philippenes map - I doubt any server will not upgrade.

well i had the original versoin(i hadnt got'n any patches) and there were servers that werent upgraded to the newest version......

i'll try a few more times with my firewall turned off, but if that doesnt work then i guess ill have to wait till the next official mod, even tho' there obviously wont be one

no that didnt work either.......im thinkin that theres some type of firewall up that i dont know about, cause we use a wireless network connection for all of our computers, with all the same software. one more thing, since i have 1.4 should i download the incremental or the full?
