For the lurkers

It's often been said that the only reason TEs and YECs debate in these forums is for the benefit of the lurkers who might actually get something out of it. Personally, I debate here to sharpen my arguments that will inevitably come up again with the general public, given my career choice. But I digress.
That said, I'm curious as to how many people find these discussions rewarding vs. just downright pointless and even depressing.

I can honestly say that I have been a bit closed-minded when I hear or talk about "Origin Theology". I've looked over this forum and have found for myself useful information. Not necessarily what you're talking about mallon, but I have seen some people here with incredible strength in their faith, and it brings me joy to know that. I try not to debate about something I know little about. This is why I'm here. To Learn. Thank you and God Bless!
