I never said that I felt like an outcast wherever I go. When I was working in the U.S. Navy for six years,I felt at home at every city that I was stationed in,including Stockton,California.

Are you just now finding that out? We men are worse than women. That is one of the reasons why God had to create Eve. For example, the XX (female chromosome) is biologically superior to the XY (male chromosome).

Most of the bad things done on this planet are done by men.

Although "Planet of The Apes" is a work of fiction.This qoute is very true. It is one of my favorite qoutes from this movie:

Many animals kill for sport and to aquire possessions. For example, mother tiger has to guard her babies first and foremost from their father because he will kill and eat them if he can.

Interesting,I have read that the mother cat has to guard her kittens when they are just born. Otherwise,the kittens' father will kill them.

However,man is the most dangerous animal or creature on this planet. We are the only creatures capable of making higly destructive thermo-nuclear warheads. It took God six days to create this planet. Mankind could destroy this planet in about 6 hours.

I'm a divorced man about 4 years out and can say that I do NOT feel a desperate need for a wife. And believe it or not that bothers me. Of the 7 members of my immediate family 4 were loners; my dad passed this year as he lived alone in his condo.

It seems so chique nowadays to say "I don't need anyone! I'm good on my own.", which is fine if you're called to celibacy. I also understand how it's wrong to be so needy, clingy, smothering someone OR trying to marry someone without a real love/passion to have a trinket on your arm. I mean, how selfish can you get?

Eden was perfect and Adam was alone....he had a need for companionship and she was called to meet him as a help for him. That's a beautiful thing, something that God has placed in most of our hearts. It's just too bad we are so busy trying to prove how tough we are, hardening our hearts, filled with selfishness when we should be doing just the opposite.

Men and women do think differently that's for sure. For ME, if I had to go to a corporate function and was in my current single state, that is how I would go....by myself. I am confident enough to be myself with myself. It would be more awkward to have some stranger as a date just to appease my CEO or co-workers. I am going to a wedding in a couple of months for a friend's daughter. I am going by myself. No biggie. Why is it such a biggie for guys? I don't get it.

All the parties my company has are generally during lunch time at work. So no dates or children or spouses. I'm going to a ball around Valentines day. So while I can have a good time going along, I would prefer to have a date for it. But I've not found anyone to ask yet.

Because we men have bigger........egos. That is why. The male ego is as fragile as an uncooked egg.

Also,in the civilian world,one has to "kiss up" to higher ups in order to get a promation. What I liked most about the U.S. Navy was that one did not have to kiss up to anybody in order to get a raise.
