Peace in Christ.
We are to set our affection on things above where Christ sits on the right hand of God ….and not on things on the earth.
Col 3:1-4 KJV
(1) If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
(2) Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
(3) For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
(4) When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
If we dwell on earthly things, then the “thieves” break through and steal, kill and destroy. John 10:10 .
The false prophets (the thieves) will then "break through"....they will have power to deceive us….and they only come to steal, kill and destroy us. They take away His life from ever being made manifest in our mortal flesh (the manifestation of the Son of man).
Mat 6:19-21 KJV
(19) Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
We are to lay up for ourselves treasures in heaven instead. Where our treasure is, there will our heart be also.
(20) But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
(21) For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Yet MANY are only minding earthly things while they “preach” to us. They only serve for their own belly to feed….minding earthly things. They are walking "disorderly."
Php 3:18-19 KJV
(18) (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
(19) Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
This serving for the belly (their “god” is their belly….the god of this age as all the nations only go after earthly things currently) has blinded their minds so that they do not have an understanding of the gospel of the glory of Christ.
They have no understanding of what they preach to us. They speak the words but without the truth behind the words. The gospel does not enlighten them for there is no understanding of it because of their earthly mindedness. The understanding of the gospel is being hid from them as they mortally perish to the grave without manifesting the life of Jesus in their mortal flesh. They are taking MANY down with them in their lack of the understanding of the gospel.
2Co 4:3-6 KJV
(3) But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost (PERISHING):
(4) In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
(5) For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
(6) For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
They are not seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness but instead go after their earthly things: what to eat, what to drink, what to wear….just as the outside nations do. They have it all backwards. If we seek His kingdom first and His righteousness, then those earthly things shall be added unto us.
Mat 6:31-34
(31) Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
(32) (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
(33) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
(34) Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
They cry “peace” to those who put food in their mouths…and prepare war against those who do not.
Mic 3:5-7 KJV
(5) Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.
Therefore it is “night” unto them. They have no understanding of the gospel….nor the Scriptures. there is no "vision"...no revelation of what the Scripture of Truth is saying. It is “dark” unto them.
(6) Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them.
(7) Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God.
For everything they do is for money….judging for reward. They teach for hire. They divine for money.
Mic 3:11 KJV
(11) The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.
Like Judas, when they receive the “sop”…a mouthful of crumbs or morsel, Satan enters them. They become his ministers.
The sop was dipped….that is, hard earned by the sweat of the brow of others. Genesis 3:19 . They did not earn it for themselves but did eat the bread of others that is hard earned by the sweat of the brow.
They betray…give up…Jesus in doing so. His life is not being made manifest in those they are deceiving as they preach for earthly things and have no understanding of the gospel that they preach to their congregations….the flock of the slaughter. They are shepherding the flock of the slaughter…and they rejoice in this.
Joh 13:26-30 KJV
(26) Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.
(27) And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.
(28) Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spake this unto him.
(29) For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.
When Judas received the sop, Satan entered him and it was “night”….no understanding.
(30) He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night.
They are allowed to rejoice in this "night" of the great famine of not hearing the Word of God in truth. “Hurt not the oil and the wine”….their rejoicing while the church goes spiritually hungry with the “crumbs” that are being fed to them.
Rev 6:5-6 KJV
(5) And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
(6) And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
They are nourished in their hearts in this time of great famine. Hurt not the oil and the wine.
Psa 104:15 KJV
(15) And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart.
Judas “had the bag.” The Greek word for “bag” is glossokomon. “Glosso” = the tongue. “komon” = kosmos…the world.
The tongue of the world (glossokomon) blasphemes God’s name because of those who are following after Judas.
“Judas” has the tongue of the world (resulting in their blasphemy) and “bears” what is put therein. They do not care what the world speaks in their blasphemy for he is a “thief” and could care less about what they say.
Joh 12:6
(6) This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag (the tongue of the world), and bare what was put therein.
All nations are supposed to call His house a house of prayer….but the thieves have made it a “den of thieves”…and they (the nations) blaspheme His holy name because of it. Yet, the temple robbers do not care.
Mar 11:17 KJV
(17) And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.
The original apostles did not eat any man’s bread for nothing…but instead worked with labor night and day so that they were not chargeable to any.
We are supposed to follow them in this…working with our own hands to support our own earthly necessities rather than preach for a paycheck…being a hired servant.
2Th 3:6-15 KJV
(6) Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.
(7) For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;
(8) Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:
The original apostles did forgo the power to receive pay for preaching…and they are the “die”…the stamp….the imprint.....the example for us to follow. It is now a commandment to work with our own hands to support our own earthly necessities.
(9) Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.
(10) For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
(11) For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.
This is the commandment of the original apostles through our Lord Jesus Christ:
(12) Now them that are such we command and exhort by (through) our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
(13) But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.
And if any man does not “obey”….that is “hear under” in subordination…the word of the original apostles by this letter, then we are to note that man and have no company with him. We are to not count him as an enemy but admonish him as a brother. Be not weary in well doing…even towards the false apostles (“apostle” = sent)…those who prove themselves to be falsely sent.
(14) And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.
(15) Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
