How often do you sin, when i first became a christian i was having a rough time, but Christ has changed me, through a repentant heart the holy spirit has givin me the strength to fight this uphill battle.. Also when i first became a christian i didnt feel guilty about my sin, i knew i was guilty and deserved to be punished but my heart was hard, Thank you Lord for softening me up and re-sensitizing me. Has anyone else felt the same?

it should be noted that you shouldnt vote to gloat, think of it like a testimony.. and i realized just now that one of the poll options isnt that good.. oh well.. take care

Actually, I don't view sin as something that I do, I view it as part of who I am. It is not so much that "I sin" it is more that I am "part of sin".

Till death do us part.
nicely said.. im gonna save that

Hm...I was reading Mere Christianity, and something in there I still remember (among other things, heh)...

It went something like this: when I look back on my day, the most common sin I have committed is against charity. I might have snapped at someone, or said something uncharitable...

My life goes something like that. Without the snapping though.

Christian's:
Don't say that it is God's fault that you sin.
Don't say that it is Satan's fault that you sin.
Don't say that it is Adam's fault that you sin.

Once you are a Christian, the power of Satan CAN be broken IN YOUR LIFE. If it isn't, it's YOUR fault. God has made available all of heaven's resources.

A Christian doesn't sin while he "walks in the Spirit" or "abides in Christ" and loves the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength.

i don't think we are ruled by sin as we once were ,for we now serve a new master.
but i think we still do sinful things,
and the more i read and understand His word the more i realise what sin really is.
and how i am guilty of things that i may never of considered sin before.
but now i know of them i am able to put them under me.
(Gen 4:7) If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
God bless.

Rom 6:16 Do you not know that when you present yourselves to someone {as} slaves for obedience, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness?

1 Cor 6:9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,
1 Cor 6:10 nor thieves, nor {the} covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.

Eph 5:3 But immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints;
Eph 5:4 and {there must be no} filthiness and silly talk, or coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks.
Eph 5:5 For this you know with certainty, that no immoral or impure person or covetous man, who is an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

Matt 5:27 "You have heard that it was said, 'YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY';
Matt 5:28 but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Matt 5:29 "If your right eye makes you stumble, tear it out and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.
Matt 5:30 "If your right hand makes you stumble, cut it off and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to go into hell.

Gal 6:8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

I probably sin 10 times a day at least right now. Most of the time I don't even notice it untill later. I am slowly leaving my sins behind though. I actually feel guilty when I say a swear word now.

Oh by the way... what does 'Reputation' mean?

And how/when/why do you add to someone's 'Reputation'?

you really add to someones reputation as a sort of compliment to what you considered a good post.
and can leave a short message with it.
you click on the hand with the thumb up in the top right hand corner of someones post.

hope this helped and hope someone corrects me if i got it wrong or missed something.

God bless.
