Flying!!!!

Hi Friends!

Well tomorrow (Monday July 15) I am flying home to the west coast to visit my family for a week. Here's the thing:  I am very uncomfortable with flying in planes (in other words I'm scared of flying!)  The last time I flew was this past Christmas and it wasn't all that bad - I was knocked out for most of the flight. 

My plane leaves Philly at around 11:30 AM tomorrow and then I have a lay over in St. Louis.  I change planes and then fly the rest of the leg home to the west coast.  If you could all please keep me in your prayers as I fly, I would really appreciate it.  Please pray that I will have peace and courage as I sit in the plane for those couple of hours.  I know that God is taking care of me and loves me, however when I'm on that plane my mind tends to play games with me.  Pray that I will remember that faith always conquers fear; and that God has not given me a spirit of fear, but a spirit of love and of sound mind. 

Thanks for taking the time to read this thread and for praying for me!  I will keep you all updated!

Yes! I'm from Vancouver, but I'm living in the Philadelphia area right now. I haven't been home in almost a year and so I am so looking forward to seeing my family and friends. I'm flying out to Seattle (cheaper airfare!) and my best friend is picking me up at the airport there. I can't wait! Thanks for praying A Sheep!

Yes!! I miss coffee crisps and smarties! I also miss Milestone's and Earl's. Can't wait to visit those places!!!

Hey S&C-

I'll be praying! My flight went very well several weeks ago and I actually remembered I enjoyed flying! One of the things that helped was on the last leg of the flight, a very handsome guy in the Coast Guard was sitting beside me. We talked almost the whole flight and I nearly forgot I was flying!

I will be praying for a very "uneventful" flight. Let us know that you are safe!

Hey friends!
I just wanted to let you all know that I arrived safely! The plane trip was pretty uneventful (a good thing!), apart from some mild turbulence as we flew over yellowstone park. I was asleep for pretty much most of the flight. Thank you all for praying! I really appreciate it!!!
