You should really read a second book. It would broaden your perspectives.-I also believe the stars are going to fall to earth, so they are not very big or far away.

They you should find a different section to post on if you don't know anything else.-I am too busy in painting paintings to get bodged down in book reading. Only necessary information, pertaining to The Bible and Art.

You're not even making any of the arguments that flat-earth believers often make. All you are doing is quoting some bible versus, etc.
But neither is the sun called the sun in the Bible, since the Bible was not written in English. You place a lot of confidence in the translation of "sun" and "star" and related words, into English and in the requesite understanding of how these words were used in the past, and the changes in meaning over time and the importance of context. From my perspective you seem unjustifiably overconfident. If I have misunderstood and you base that confidence upon an intimate knowledge of Greek and Hebrew and the consolidation of ancient texts into the Bible, then please present the relevant aspects of that knowledge to enlighten others. If not, you will perhaps understand why your comments seem interesting as opinions, but valueless as "facts".-Also in The Bible the sun is never called a star and stars are never called suns.
The cosmology in the Bible is more in line with the ancient middle-eastern world view, but not modern astrophysics.-Also in The Bible the sun is never called a star and stars are never called suns.
That's because it's a middle-eastern worldview book. Written from and to that perspective. It accurately reflects the beliefs of the ones who wrote it and who didn't have the scientific knowledge we now have.The cosmology in the Bible is more in line with the ancient middle-eastern world view, but not modern astrophysics.

Still posting largely in English, I see. And still none of it relevant.-Whether the great light is called the sun or not. The Bible still makes a distinction between the three bodies of lights God created.
shemesh, yareach, kokab
Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also.
---------------------
To Him who made great lights,
For His mercy endures forever—
The sun to rule by day,
For His mercy endures forever;
The moon and stars to rule by night,
For His mercy endures forever.
---------------------
Praise Him, sun and moon;
Praise Him, all you stars of light!
---------------------
There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory.
-Everything thing comes from God, science gives us nothing but deceptions.
God has given man the ability to invent, that is not of mans on accord.
