  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Three things on that,

1: There are pages of explanations already in reply to you about it (including from me on other threads) but you reject them out of hand.

2: You have acknowledged that you don’t understand any of it. This is not because what has been presented to you is wrong, it’s because you are not good at maths or science (by your own admission).

3: You can’t explain how a flat earth model would work, you just post YouTube videos of flaky conspiracy theorists. Then you expect others to explain a globe earth to you which they graciously do, but you reject it all with ridicule.

Again, you reject anything that explains a globe earth out of hand. You don’t understand it despite many people explaining it to you in detail. There are many YouTube videos debunking flat earth but you reject them out of hand too without understanding them at all.

The bottom line is you don’t understand rudimentary maths or physics & that’s why you can’t understand a globe earth. You are also predisposed to conspiracy theories, you even started a thread about that. But somehow I doubt you were serious about curing yourself of it.

Again, you don’t understand basic maths & physics & because of that you reject any and all evidence for a globe earth. I have engaged with you before about such things as satellite tv but you ridiculed it all, dismissing it out of hand.

You don’t even understand the YouTube videos you post yourself (by your own admission) but you keep posting them regardless claiming you agree with them.

Your purpose here is nullified by your lack of understanding on any flat or globe earth issues.

So you keep demanding despite the fact that I & others have responded to you on various threads with clear evidence about a globe earth, and repeatedly you have ridiculed and dismissed all of them without any understanding of them.

This thread is about giving globe & flat earthers the opportunity to witness whether there is 24 hour daylight in Antarctica during December. This is a perfect opportunity for flat earthers to debunk a globe earth as every globe earther says there is 24 hour daylight in December in Antarctica.

But rather than encouraging flat earthers to go and debunk the globe earth, all you do is post YouTube videos and claim there isn’t.

That’s just one example of your lack of respect & dismissiveness for any globe earth evidence.

No, they have failed to do that every time. Early on in these threads we would explain why they fail, but it became increasingly obvious that you weren't interested.

We've explained how non-stop flights between continents in the Southern Hemisphere cannot exist in your flat earth model but are entirely consistent with the globe model. We've explained how the horizon drops more and more below eye level the higher the altitude you view it from. consistent again with the globe but not with the flat earth. We've explained why the night sky in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres is again consistent with the globe and not with the flat earth. We've explained how lunar eclipses can only work with the globe. You've rejected all of it out of hand. You're not going to find a video more convincing.

Not at all. I recommend you watch videos by Dave McKeegan on Youtube. He resists the urge to mock flat earther's and simply states the facts, giving clear explanations as to why flat earth arguments are wrong.

The evidence will be there in December. There are plenty of globe earthers going and here is flat earthers opportunity to debunk 24 hour daylight in December in Antarctica. But all you say is there isn't and post something like an Eric Dubay YouTube video where he says he doesn't believe there is but if there is then it doesn't debunk a flat earth. He therefore exposes himself as a hypocrite!

But I'm saying if there isn't, it does go a long way to debunk a globe earth. Let's have that showdown in Antarctica in December!!!
