You can see the "contact with the water" of any object for three miles.Obstructed by what? In order to see fifty miles at sea, I would have to be 2000 feet above the ocean. So if that's the case the Earth is not flat for that distance. I stand six feet tall...That means I can see a whole three miles at sea...The Earth is NOT flat.
What about 2mm?
What are you talking about? What base missing? You can see the "contact with the water" of any object for three miles.
But objects can be seen with the base missing much farther.
Like you can see a tall ship, but with the waterline not visible for many miles. What are you talking about? What base missing?
I'm sorry I still find your point is incredibly vague.....Like you can see a tall ship, but with the waterline not visible for many miles.
Not in this picture, but like this.
Like I said.... you need to read some stuff:Obstructed by what? In order to see fifty miles at sea, I would have to be 2000 feet above the ocean. Ok That's trueHe's basically saying that the further out an object is, the lowest part of the object will start to not be seen by the viewer as it starts dropping below the curvature of the earth.
Like I said.... you need to read some stuff
Of course that is one case of what actually happens....in some cases. In others, objects are clearly seen over distances that are impossible with a curve of 8 inches per mile squared. As usual, you've messed up the calculations. And several of your numbers are simply wrong as well.
This is what actually happens:
As for making graven images of things in or beneath the earth--How would we know what those things looked like to make images of them if they are beneath the earth, assuming that's to be taken literally?
Waters under the earth could refer to just that, as anyone with access to wells understand.
Sons of God? How does that relate? I believe in the angelic realm.
I believe the Garden of Eden existed.

The Statue of Liberty in New York stands 326 feet above sea level and on a clear day can be seen as far as 60 miles away. If the Earth were a globe, that would put Lady Liberty at an impossible 2,074 feet below the horizon.
Since you believe that Eden no longer exists, where on the surface of the Earth do they all live now?
People living in New York City say the statue is very difficult to spot at 5 miles.
