The sun and moon are in the firmament as Genesis attests to, thus these two bodies of light are smaller and closer to the earth than we are brainwashed into believing. As the sun and moon move in clockwise fashion around the face of the clock they cast their light upon the face of the earth giving daylight during the day and moonlight during the night.
The sun is close and small and circles around and above the flat earth in a spiral pattern on the Tropic of Cancer in the Northern Summer months, and then down to the Tropic of Capricorn in the Northern Winter Months. So when the sun is further away from the North Pole, it’s winter in the north and summer in the south.
I suggest you inform yourself, do your own due diligence which I assume you are capable of doing and come to your own conclusion.

With the standard model, we can predict movement of any object in space.
With the standard model, we can even predict eclipses with the precision to seconds. It simply works.
With the Flat Earth, we do not even know what eclipses are, not to say predict them.

Yes, yes...centuries of knowledge tell us that we have 365 Days = 1 Year...which is very odd because 52 Weeks = 1 Year and 1 Week = 7 Days...so the ancients were either really bad at math or lying...because basic arithmetic says...Well, I am not a scientist, I do not have the answers.
I build on many centuries and generations of knowledge, i.e. on laws, observations, tests etc of others, who specialize in the field.
Their solution (globe earth in heliocentric system) gives simple answers to everything we observe in our daily life.
You, not mentioning that you are unwilling to give any solution, do not have any working answers for our daily life. You just emotionally stick to literal reading of ancient texts, but thats not an answer to my practical questions.
Also, I somehow doubt you really believe the stuff. I suspect that if you will have a problem with concentration, sleep and similar, you will not tell doctors "do not test my brain, test kidneys instead, because Bible says so".
