FishEaters Vs Fishwrap Prayer request

Even though I'm on break, (and finally doing the meditations) I thought I'd post one more prayer request. (hopefully, this'll be the last) Yesterday, on FishEaters Forum, someone posted a prayer request asking that the Pseudo-catholic news agency, National "catholic" Reporter either be converted to authentic Catholicism or be shut-down. (see the original thread here: https://www.fisheaters.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=79097) I'd thought invite my fellow-Catholics here to join in on the prayers for the conversion or collapse of Fishwrap, their offices are based in a diocese dedicated to St. Joseph so ask for his intercessions when you pray.

That's why I asked what they are. The Universalist, gay is great, let's have open communion type?

Well then I suppose their bishop is failing then. They shouldn't be called Catholic but I'm sure he's the type who won't excomunnicate because politics.

I always get the reporter and the register mixed up. Can never remember which is the faithful one and which is the dissident one. I suppose that's the point, to confuse the masses.

Actually bishop Finn was a great bishop but once he failed to properly discipline a child molesting priest and he was taken out for it. The National 'c'atholic Reporter reveled in his demise because he DID call on them to stop using the name 'Catholic' in their publication. I don't know what his successor has done about it.

The National 'c'atholic Reporter, aka 'fishwrap', is not to be confused with the National Catholic Register, a good and orthodox publication. Both have the abbreviation 'NCR' which is confusing.
