First time MOMMY!!

That's right . . .we just found out that we are pregnant. We haven't been to the doctor's yet, but we took an over the counter test, and it was POSITIVE!! We've been married for 4 years now, and we've been trying for 3 of them. I'm ready and rearing to go! I'm very excited my hubby's scared out of his mind, but excited. Any advice is always appreicated! Especially any men advice for the hubby! I've called a few family and friends and told them. They're all excited for us, it makes this time feel even more exciting! Just thought I'd share our wonderful news! I'll let you know more once we've been to the doctors.

YAY!!!! Merry Christmas! I'm in the same boat as you. First time - 8 weeks as of yesterday (we think) and will be going to the dr. on Thursday. We've been trying for a couple of years, so we are trying to be cautious with our hearts, but we are still excited!

I was a young first time mom like you. It can be hard at times because you feel like you had to give up your youth, but it so so well worth it and so rewarding, in fact I loved it so much, I had three more by the time I was 27

Wow! Congratulations and you have my respect that you beat the statistics and stayed happily married for four years after getting married so young.

I know I wouldn't have been mature enough to do it.

I forgot the advice

I advise finding an excellent birth center with compassionate midwives. For Hubby, I advise going to childbirth and early parenting classes with you.

All of the above proved wonderfully helpful to us.

Congrats. My advice is to take Bradley Childbirth classes and hire a doula. No one should have to go into childbirth without either.
