First Spiderman 3 pic released

The pic looks sweet! Did anyone notice that reflection in his eye? Is Sony trying to give us a hint at who the villian is? There's something there but I can't make it out.

I think the reflection is just the city below him dude...

And its official who the villains are. Its going to be Sandman and Venom, then I hear the Hobgoblin is supposed to be the villian for Spiderman 4.

Venom is not official. Only Sandman is official. Sony hasn't confirmed who Topher Grace is playing as of yet.

The city is in the reflection but if you look under it there's some black stuff which doesn't look like it's a part of the suit but a reflection.

Because it's not really dark as there are highlights on the front part of the costume, from light. It's supposed to be a black costume.

Actually, Venom is pretty much confirmed. That bimbo Dunst spilled the beans and she was already right about who one of the villians will be (Sandman) and the other villian was Venom.

Besides, this pic is pretty much proof that they're going with the Venom story arc, either in this movie or the 4th one.

I know Dunst said that Sandman and Venom are the villians but it's not confirmation from Sony and Marvel though. But either way I do hope Venom is in it...that would be awesome.

Sandman was already confirmed by Sony Well you probably knew that anyway. I can see the movie turning out similar to the cartoon about the whole venom thing.

I bet Spidey will get his butt kicked by Sandman, get the Venom costume eventually, then kick Sandman's butt, then lose the suit to Eddie and then he'll have to fight Venom

Yeah, I wrote that wrong about who was confirmed and not. Sandman was confirmed, but Venom hasn't been yet by Sony.

I do agree that they may go the route of the cartoon, which isn't a bad thing.

No not at all. If they go ahead with the Venom story arc in this movie, I wonder how they'll explain the symbiote. I don't think they'd go for the whole alien thing. At least I hope not.

The only problem I have with the symbiote being a science experiment and all is that it's be done in the past movies already. I mean, how many more scientific experiments are going to go wrong? lol.

True, you got a point there lol. Well um, I can't think of anything else Maybe MJ's ex from SM2 goes to the moon again and finds it, like in the cartoon? I can see that happening as well.

Well, I don't know. The more realistic way would be the scientific experiment. That wouldn't involve aliens and the such. I don't know. I can only hope whichever way they introduce it, Raimi and Co. will make it believable.

Wow, I prefer the first pic. Looks so much like the REAL black suit. I guess they're keeping the raised webbing on his suit because they want it to be "realistic".
