I was in a somewhat similar state several weeks ago. Trust God to provide all you need. He loves you and you are precious to Him, but you know that.
Prayers for you, Will.:crossrc:

Chris and I will pray for you as well.

Thank you all.

Though I know that I am precious to God, I also know that sometimes what is best for me isn't always what I want or hope for.

So I will pray and whatever happens will obviously be His will. If things improve, then I will praise Him. If they continue or eve get worse, then I will praise Him all the more. :)

I like your attitude!

I have found that is the only attitude I can have.

Like Peter said... "Where else could we go, Lord? Only you have the words of eternal life."

It makes me happy to know that I have finally given all my reliance to Him. I don't know what the future will hold, and I am far far far from being perfect, but I do know that I will be serving Him. :)

Well, we did take communion side-by-side. Does that count? :p

One of the nice things about being married to my husband is that we actually get to take communion together. It doesn't happen that way most of the time for most pastors and their families - but we decided that since Matt is the last one to take communion, and it's our retired pastor that gives him communion, why couldn't I then just go up and take it with him? So...that is what we do. The congregation really likes it, and it's put a big emphasis on taking communion as a family.

Hmm what a hard question...

Age I am in linear years: 35
Age I am physically according to health surveys: 45-50
Age people tell me I look: 25 ish
Age I act according to a net survey I took: 12
Age my wife accuses me of being: 10
Age I feel currently: 135

So do take your pick :D

Yes, Stan ;), but how old are you in doggie years? THAT is the most important question!!

Okay, that's just plain WEIRD. What I had typed there was faux html code for "end threadderail. Like /endthreadderail. How bizarre. What word is the censor thingie possibly getting out of that?

Is it too late to say hello? I've haven't had internet for about a week and I'm at school right now. I don't see any chance in the near future that our house internet will up soon. Anyway, I'm trying to find classes to take for next semester. Pray for me.

Welcome BF.

EDIT: I know I should be working on a schedule but I have to say sorry for putting this message in your thread.

Sorry, but I'm not old enough to drink. I have never had alcohol in my life. Save for communion. And that's one of the things I'm proud to have left alone. I'll ask what kind of beer I should have on my 21st birthday when it gets closer to that time.

Ya know, just because I can drink, doesn't mean I will.

Even if I liked the taste of alcohol, I probably still wouldn't drink very much of it. I just don't want to experience the pain and humiliation of getting drunk. (My sister has, and boy was that a bad experience!)

Not to mention the cost of alcohol! There are a whole lot more important things to waste my money on, than alcohol!

Sorry if this is offensive. I never intended it to. I just wanted to tell you my thoughts and experiences.

Hope

Heh I said it before and I will say it again, I don't drink either. I just find the beer/Lutheranism stereotype funny.

Having that that... yet again :D *passes out more jellobeer*

Radiata - It's ok, beer is not alcohol to Lutherans, it's more like kool-aid. lol As to what kind you should have on your 21st? Ummm try something extremely bitter and barely palatable so you make lots of interesting faces for your friends! Something like... Oh Kilian's Dark or something similar. Guaranteed the taste will stick to your tongue for years bwahahahahahahahahaha

Ok I spose I am running out of beer folly *sigh*
