I dated my first girlfriend for almost 6 years but didn't marry her. Think my wife was my 3rd or 4th girlfriend. I think that I was my wifes 2nd or 3rd boyfriend.

I'm was a serial dater. My mother used to tease me by saying I changed boyfriends like I changed underwear. She thought she was funny.

I feel fortunate that I am my husbands first "real" girlfriend. He said he was very intent on waiting for God to provide him with the woman he would end up marrying - that was me We've been married for 7 years.

Nope I had lots of b/fs but if you are meaning sexual partners no I had my share of them too I'm quit ashamed of it but its true. My longest b/f before my husband was 3months heh

No he wasn't my first, I had my first boyfriend when I was 13. I broke up with the first, "talked" with the second for a few weeks, broke it off. 2 months later I started dating my Hubby. I was 14 at the time he was 16. We have never broken up, obviously since we have been married for 5 years now.
14 is not too young to find the right one, or for a relationship to survive if God is in it.

I married my first boyfriend

I had boyfriend after boyfriend as a non-Christian teen. I was so hungry to find someone (anyone) to love me. When I made a commitment to Christ, to live my life for Him, I committed to not dating again, and even though I longed for a "partner", God provided my husband in His time and in His own incredible way.

My husband had never dated, and had never kissed another girl. What an incredible blessing that Hosea & Gomer would find love, peace, beauty and faithfulness.

Does it matter?

It does to me. I feel a great joy, peace and satisfaction in knowing my husband has never been with another woman. I am forgiven my past sins, but how I wish I had come to my husband on our wedding night a virgin. I robbed our marriage of something God originally planned marriage to have. I don't mean I beat myself up daily about it, but I do remember my past, and we all live with the consequence of our sin.

He was my first boyfriend, first kiss, first...well, everything We started dating when I was 18 and we were married a bit over a year ago.
I was not his first girlfriend by a long shot. I wish I had been, but it hasn't caused us serious problems.
Except if you consider running into his most serious ex fairly regularly...how awkward!
