But where does it say that G~d has forsaken His Chosen People Israel and replaced them with Christians and turned the Land of Israel into a spiritual thing only?

anisavta,

Let God through His words answer your questions:

God did not replace the “chosen people Israel” with other people. Let us remember Christ’s Apostles/Disciples are Jews.

However salvation is not exclusive to the Jews. It is offered to all based on His required standard of humility.

 • Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
 • Gal 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Thus, we find people of other nationalities included among God’s chosen people. The required humility is stated by our Lord in:

 • Mat 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
The proof for passing this STANDARD is again stated by our Lord in:

 • Luk 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
Those who “succeed passing the standard” are NO LONGER subject to Jesus’ rebuke in:

 • Joh 8:19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.
Finally, this indicates “obeying” The first of all the commandments in:

 • Mar 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
And now READY to follow the Two Great Commandments:

 • Mar 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
 • Mar 12:31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

I think it's encouraging the first two commandments, listed as the primary ones, are about love and honor among men and God. Saying above all, love Me your Father, and then your fellow man. If only everyone followed these, the world would be so much better off.

See Matthew 21.

Jews are not saved by their trust in Father Abraham, or the type of blood that courses through their veins.

All are saved who accept the Passover lamb and His sacrifice on Calvary to cover their sins and bring them one step closer to the atonement that God has offered.

Haven't you heard? God make make children unto Abraham out of rocks?!

Luke 3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to [our] father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

I go to church with a Messianic Jew that fully understands this: that all Israel (Rom 9:6) isn't referring to the actual physical descendants of Jacob, but to all those who have accepted Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior.

What did our Lord Jesus mean by the “First of all the commandments” in the following?

 • Mar 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
At first glance, “The Lord our God is one Lord” is not even a commandment. But He followed this with the Two Great Commandments.

Any comment?

An accurate rednering is as follows:-

Deuteronomy 6:4-5
"Listen, O Israel: Jehovah our God is one Jehovah. 5 And you must love Jehovah your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your vital force.

Others read:-
Deut 6:4
(ASV) Hear, O Israel: Jehovah our God is one Jehovah:

(Darby) Hear, Israel: Jehovah our God is one Jehovah;

(KJV+) Hear,H8085 O Israel:H3478 The LORDH3068 our GodH430 is oneH259 LORD:H3068

Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary No. 3068 יהוה yehôvâh yeh-ho-vaw' From H1961; (the) self Existent or eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God: - Jehovah, the Lord. Compare H3050, H3069.

(Modern KJV) Hear, O, Israel. Jehovah our God is one Jehovah.

(NSB) Listen, Israel! JEHOVAH OUR GOD IS ONE GOD!

(YLT) `Hear, O Israel, Jehovah our God is one Jehovah;

Mark 12:29-33
Jesus answered: "The first is, ‘Hear, O Israel, Jehovah our God is one Jehovah, 30 and you must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind and with your whole strength.’ 31 The second is this, ‘You must love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these." 32 The scribe said to him: "Teacher, you well said in line with truth, ‘He is One, and there is no other than He’; 33 and this loving him with one’s whole heart and with one’s whole understanding and with one’s whole strength and this loving one’s neighbor as oneself is worth far more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.". . .

is central to Judaism. Harve Citrin explains it better than I can.

By Harve Citrin

The Sh'ma is not a prayer, supplication, exaltation, blessing, or incantation. D'varim 6:4 is Moses's strong dynamic command - Listen Israel! - combined with two equally powerful statements of reality - YHWH is our God! YHWH is unique!

The verses following D'varim 6:4 (6:5-9, the first verses in the liturgy titled V'ahavta) are also strong dynamic commands that state the necessary (and I believe sufficient) ways to acknowledge and be faithful to YHWH. No equivocation, no sense of pleading is involved. These are directives originally from Moses, and now declarations to ourselves and each other. In my mind, the directives are absolute, appropriate in every generation and in every context, and summarize not only our covenant with God, but our relationship to each other and to creation. Israel does not have the choice of not listening; Israel does not have the choice of denying YHWH.

And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is: "Hear, Israel. The Lord our God is one Lord,
Mar 12:30 and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul" and with all your mind, "and with all your strength." This is the first commandment. Deut. 6:4, 5
Mar 12:31 And the second is like this, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." There is not another commandment greater than these. Lev. 19:18

If you want to break it down to periods and comma's, the first could as well be :Hear O Israel," but my personal opinion is that "The Lord our God is one Lord,
Mar 12:30 and you shall love the Lord your God " is one continuous thought and all part of the greatest Commandment.

The whole bible is based on the commandment to love God. The bible sums up the ten commandments with the two commandments to love God and love fellow man. The way we love God is by obeying God. The way we hate God is by disobeying God. God gave us free will to choose whether or not we will love Him. When Jesus says "Hear oh Israel..." and when He says "you shall love your neighbor as yourself" he is quoting Moses. The whole bible is based on this one concept of loving God through obedience to His will.

INT 1JO 5:3

This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome.
INT JOH 14:15

"If you love me, you will obey what I command."

NAB JOH 15:10

"You will live in my love if you keep my commandments, even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and live in his love."
NAB DEU 11:1

"Love the LORD, your God, therefore, and always heed his charge: his statutes, decrees and commandments."
INT JOH 14:23

Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me."
NAB LEV 19:18

(God speaks through Moses.)
"You shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD. "
NAB ROM 13 Love Fulfills the Law.

Owe no debt to anyone except the debt that binds us to love one another. He who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. The commandments, "You shall not commit adultery; you shall not murder; you shall not steal; you shall not covet," and any other commandment there may be are all summed up in this, saying (namely) "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Love never wrongs the neighbor, hence love is the fulfillment of the law.
NAB DEU 10:12 The Lord's Majesty.

"And now, Israel, what does the LORD, your God, ask of you but to fear the LORD, your God, and follow his ways exactly, to love and serve the LORD, your God, with all your heart and all your soul, to keep the commandments and statutes of the LORD which I enjoin on you today for your own good?"
NAB JOH 15:22

"If I had not come to them and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; now, however, their sin cannot be excused. To hate me is to hate my Father. Had I not performed such works among them as no one has ever done before, they would not be guilty of sin; but as it is, they have seen, and they go on hating me and my Father."
NAB SIR 28:7

Think of the commandments, hate not your neighbor;
NAB DEU 5:9

". . . you shall not have other gods besides me. You shall not bow down before them or worship them. For I, the LORD, your God, am a jealous God, inflicting punishments for their fathers' wickedness on the children of those who hate me, down to the third and fourth generation but bestowing mercy, down to the thousandth generation, on the children of those who love me and keep my commandments."

NAB DEU 5:6

'I, the LORD, am your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that place of slavery. You shall not have other gods besides me. You shall not carve idols for yourselves in the shape of anything in the sky above or on the earth below or in the waters beneath the earth; you shall not bow down before them or worship them. For I, the LORD, your God, am a jealous God, inflicting punishments for their fathers' wickedness on the children of those who hate me, down to the third and fourth generation but bestowing mercy, down to the thousandth generation, on the children of those who love me and keep my commandments. 'You shall not take the name of the LORD, your God, in vain. For the LORD will not leave unpunished him who takes his name in vain. 'Take care to keep holy the sabbath day as the LORD, your God, commanded you. Six days you may labor and do all your work; but the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD, your God. No work may be done then, whether by you, or your son or daughter, or your male or female slave, or your ox or ass or any of your beasts, or the alien who lives with you. Your male and female slave should rest as you do. For remember that you too were once slaves in Egypt, and the LORD, your God, brought you from there with his strong hand and outstretched arm. That is why the LORD, your God, has commanded you to observe the sabbath day. 'Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD, your God, has commanded you, that you may have a long life and prosperity in the land which the LORD, your God, is giving you. 'You shall not kill. 'You shall not commit adultery. 'You shall not steal. 'You shall not bear dishonest witness against your neighbor. 'You shall not covet your neighbor's wife. 'You shall not desire your neighbor's house or field, nor his male or female slave, nor his ox or ass, nor anything that belongs to him.' "These words, and nothing more, the LORD spoke with a loud voice to your entire assembly on the mountain from the midst of the fire and the dense cloud. He wrote them upon two tablets of stone and gave them to me(DEU 5:23)....//....(DEU 6:1)"These then are the commandments, the statutes and decrees which the LORD, your God, has ordered that you be taught to observe in the land into which you are crossing for conquest, so that you and your son and your grandson may fear the LORD, your God, and keep, throughout the days of your lives, all his statutes and commandments which I enjoin on you, and thus have long life. Hear then, Israel, and be careful to observe them, that you may grow and prosper the more, in keeping with the promise of the LORD, the God of your fathers, to give you a land flowing with milk and honey. "Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD alone! Therefore, you shall love the LORD, your God, with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength. Take to heart these words which I enjoin on you today. Drill them into your children. Speak of them at home and abroad, whether you are busy or at rest. Bind them at your wrist as a sign and let them be as a pendant on your forehead. Write them on the doorposts of your houses and on your gates.
