If you're also going to school full-time, I wouldn't try to work more than twenty, max. Maybe more like fifteen or so. Factor in homework and personal time, and that may be all you can spare.

I am in high school (senior) but I have less classes than most people and get out early.

Ok. If you feel like you can handle more hours, you can always bump it up later. But if you ask me, twenty is a good maximum to start with. Still leaves you time to yourself, and with family and friends.

I agree. Save the 40 hours a week time for when you need to be paying bills and stuff. God bless you.

Try to do running start instead of working. If you don't know what that is - it allows you to get college credits while still in HS. That would save you more money and time in the long run if you aren't trying to support yourself currently with a job. If you parents want you to work and it isn't for financial reasons, it would probably benefit them also because you would save them money from tuition.
