This is my first time dieting, and it's going great so far (lost a significant amount in 3 days, without trying to lose it quick (aiming for a pound a week!))! I'm very pleased with my self becuase I'm now down to the weight I was before christmas with so little 'work' as such, but just good eating and fitness...

Any other exciting stories on your journey?

You can do it!

It just takes time to find what's going to work for you. When I found what worked for me I ran with it and the weight has melted off with just a few plateaus.

(One of which I created for myself because it was the Holidays and I figured at worse I would only gain a few pounds... and I did... and they came right off and more come the new year.)

My advice is to experiment, have fun. Try all the diets. I've done Raw Food, Low Calorie (which worked for me initially), "Let's Do Lunch" (Which was a great second stage for me.)

Dieting is an adventure.

Nobility... please stick at it.
We are bombarded with stuff tempting us to eat/drink such and such.
Sugar-free coke for instance carries so much crud that you wouldn't want to know.
Don't believe the food manufacturers.
Cream satiates your apetite... did you know that?
It stops you from nibbling, and is not over fattening.
Fat has been given a bad press, whereas it is sugar which is your greatest enemy.
Food manufacturers diguise it in their ingredients.
Do a little research and the answers will astound you.
Sure obese people increase their chances of heart attacks, but where in the continents of Europe and America are the two countries with the least incidence of heart disease?
The answer may amaze you.
Good luck.
Don't be too hard on yourself.
