First call

I just got my call to pastor my first church! I am so excited! It's a small congregation in Illinois. I can see God growing this congregation in both numbers and deeper christian walk! Praise God!

Just from your short post it is obvious that you have a true passion for what God has called you to do. May the Lord bless you and your congregation both in spiritual growth and in numbers.

Well, my first Sunday will be the 4th of September. I am so excited! I actually take the reigns over that Thursday. I am trying to figure out what my sermon should be about... I was thinking about how Christ expects us to give all that we have, especially money, and tie that into the love of money.
