My little alien!!!

So, now I have my appointments made every month until my 20 weeker Ultrasound.

anyone want to take guesses on if its a boy or a girl?

oh and my next two appointments are they just for taking blood and peeing in a cup? does anyone know?

Awww yay! Cute lil tadpole! Mine looked like a jellybean in his first pictures

Dunno if every office is the same but at my appointments I get weighed, pee in a cup, and blood pressure taken every time before I even see the doctor.

I had blood drawn initially, uhm once for the quad scan (that one was optional), for the glucose test, to check the iron in my blood.. I think that's it but those were spread out over the last 19 weeks or so. (Considering I only started going to the doctor at 19 weeks and am now at week 38 )
I also had a pap test and breast exam early on but I think it just depends on where you're at and if you've had them before cause I hadn't until then.

Anyhoo! Congrats on such a cute first baby picture!

I had the pap and the breast exam at this one, which was my first time meeting and seeing my doctor.

They also took a urine sample and took 4 viles of blood! (Its a lot!)

And they weighed me and took my height.

It was a 30 minute appointment.

The next two are 8 minute appointments, I am just wondering what to expect.

Allmy doctor did @ my appointments (up to 36 weeks) was have me pee in a cup, take my blood pressure, listen to baby's heartbeat...and then @ about 20 weeks, she started measuring my uterus (with a tape measure). Really quick in and out type thing. @ 36 weeks, they start doing a pelvic every week and you still have to pee in the cup, get blood pressure, heartbeat checked, and measured my uterus.

Yeah!!! Your tadpole is so adorable! Mine looked like a jelly bean @ 9 weeks (which is when my first appt. was). Now he looks just like a baby boy and I can't wait to hold him!

I only peed in a cup if I thought something was wrong. Normally I'd go get my weight blood pressure and temp taken discuss any problems. He'd suggest tests, I'd refuse them, and he'd say Thank you Mr and Mrs...see you in a month. Oh and he'd feel my stomach...and I was underweight at the beginning so I had to speak to a nurse about gaining weight.

I did the routine pee in a cup, weight, and blood pressure thing for most of my appointments. She didn't start measuring me until I was at like 25 weeks. I haven't had any pelvic exams, I'm not sure why but I think it's because I'm having a c-section. Basically after the routine stuff we just talk about any questions I have and that's it. Up until I had high blood pressure my appointments were no longer than 30 minutes.

generally blood preasure, urine and ask you if you have any questions or have had any problems....

I wish my tech would have said that, she called my little angel a "creature" when we had our first US. She's a lovely lady .
