Fireworks

So I went and saw fireworks tonight with my parents and God spoke to me!!

We live in a small town, so not a whole lot of money for fireworks but there's still a show every year. For about the first 15 min. of the show.. they just shoot off one firework at a time. Then for about the last 5 minutes of the show, they continuously shoot off fireworks (like you see on TV). When they started shooting them off really fast there at the end, and they were so colorful and beautiful, the Lord said something along the lines of "That's what it will be like when you see Me."

How awesome it's going to be when we get to see Jesus face-to-face!

Amy, I think it's so neat when God speaks to use in those type of ways. The ways of hearing him are endless! Seeing Jesus face to face is something that I'm so anxious to do, I want to personally thank him for what he did for me and all of mankind. He's definitely our hope.
Also, I recommend a song by 33 miles which I believe is called "What Could Be Better?" It's an uptempo, contemporary Christian song which talks about how great it'll be to see Jesus. One lyric goes: "When I see Jesus face to face, what could be better?"

I will have to look up that song, thank you!! It sounds great Yes, it'll be SO awesome to see Jesus face to face. I had an experience about a year and a half ago, around Christmas, where I went to a play in town. The people who played the 12 disciples had just walked up to the front of the church. I had no idea anybody was coming a ways away after them, and I was just sitting there watching when out of the corner of my eye someone was walking up the center of the aisle and I just got butterflies in my tummy. And I slowly turned my head and looked, and there was the person dressed up like Jesus. He was so tall, and skinny, long curly dark hair, it looked so much like the pictures. I couldn't stop staring at him the whole hour and a half of the play.
