Anyone heard of this? My wife asked me about it today, I knew nothing. Saw it mentioned on another Christian site-supposed to be a good flick.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

yes, it is starring kirk cameron and i saw him on "wretched" and heard him interviewed on christian radio about the movie. it is PG, about a marriage falling apart and faith in God restoring it.and looks to be an awesome movie. i am looking forward to seeing it. kirk would not do the kissing scene with the actress who played his wife so they had his real wife stand in for the scene and shot it in silouette.

It's no wonder that Hollywood wouldn't hire him to do movies - alot of it is having to do wrong - what a catch 22 for a Christian.

I don't know how I feel about that. I mean the actors in Hollywood are such prisses to begin with, with all their demands for food and beverages and trailers with special accomodations in addition to the ridiculous amount of money they're paid. I guess this is Kirk's special consideration. But the reason no one in Hollywood will hire him is because he can't act. LOL Now Nadiine, I must say I'm surprised you weren't at the premiere, given how you just fawned over him in LB. hehehehehe

No, I don't have his tv series hidden away. I might watch it if it's on TBN or Total Blasphemy Network. But I don't even listen to Way of the Master anymore. As long as they preach/teach decision theology, I can't support them.

I thought it was by the same folks who made the Flywheel and Facing the Giants movies.
I'm not particularly interested, but I eventually end up seeing it if it is by that group. I hope he uses it though.

Nadiine, it is a physical impossibility to impale someone on a fisk. It'd have to be frozen and at worst I use semi-frozen fisks. You want full on frozen fisks check your grocer's freezer section. LOL

It is by the same people who did Facing the Giants. I'm gonna have to see it before I can really comment on it. My suspicion is that this movie will probably not reference Jesus Christ directly, but will talk about God. Now we know that Jesus is God, but when Hollywood movies mention Jesus as opposed to God, then you've crossed a line from a faith-based film into 'shoving your preachy views down everybody's throat.' This movie may have played it safe. But I'll save my judgment for after I see it.
