I have FF 1.0 PR...do I need to install it OVER it, or uninstall the beta and install the final version?

Also, in FF 0.8 and in 1.0 PR, this browser does NOT like CF The message box is to the right and the FF browser doesn't fully support the graphical editor.... is this a bug?

Oh~ how is the final version working so far?

downloaded it this morning, the server was acting so slowing probably due to the load of everyone getting 1.0 anyways to answer the question above I just install over the previous version, and I don't have any problems...

I've heard that installing over previous versions doesn't always work. Maybe that's why it's slow?

ooops...read too fast...didn't see that it was the server that slowed down the loading process, NOT because of installing.

Just downloaded 1.0...the speed is appreciably faster on my laptop than the PR! But I've still got the box problems that you showed on your uploaded image, Lori - graphical editor appears to be working fine though

I installed Firefox last night. Works fine so far, I don't recall having a message box problem, but maybe I just didn't notice.

It's kinda odd not using IE, I'm still getting used to the slight difference in layouts and fonts.

I had Firefox 1.0 PR previously and what I did was go to Tools and Options and then updated it from there. I believe it's under the Advanced tab. It seemed to be fully automated and worked flawlessly.

Yep, same here! It loads a bit faster than PR, but the message box in CF is still skewed to the right. At least the smilies are now clickable! yay!

I also didn't see much of a difference. But then again I don't think there is supposed to be much of a difference.

Oh there is...

for one: the start page, it's almost blank except for the google bar and the FF logo.

secondly: if you want to download a program for FF, it will stop you and ask if you want to download.

thirdly: FF supports some sites with WYSIWYG editor, but with CF you'll have to tweak your profile to get rid of the javascript error. (I can't use the "cut" feature, nor can I right click on the selected text and "cut" either)

fourthly: it's a bit more stable than the PR, and it loads a bit faster as well.

that's all I can think of for now.

It was way slower than IE when I manually configured it to run through my slipstream accelerator.
